In Gigantium and in our swimming pool we have many disability-friendly facilities. Below we will describe a little about what we can offer.
Disabled parking spaces closest to the entrances.
Wheelchair users are referred to use the parking lot and entrance in our basement level - approx. 50 meters to the right from the swimming pool staircase entrance. On the wall at the entrance there is a switch for the doorway.
When you enter, there is an elevator on the right hand side that goes up to the foyer.
Another option is our handicap parking at the entrance to the north, where there is an entrance directly to the foyer. This entrance is approximately 120 meters from the parking to the entrance of the swimming pool.
Accompanying persons with disabilities have free access to our swimming pool together with the disabled person - one locked locker is available per person. Valuables that cannot fit in the locker can be left in the staff room by arrangement with the ticket office or a lifeguard.
