Ice rink booking for
schools and institutions

The offer is free for schools/institutions in Aalborg Municipality
Schools and institutions have the opportunity to book skating times in Gigantium.
Below you can see when and how you can book times depending on whether you are a municipal school/institution under Aalborg Municipality, a private school/institution or a school/institution from another municipality.

The ice skating season in Gigantium runs from September 16, 2025 to March 18, 2026, so you can only book times during this period.

As a school/institution in Aalborg Municipality, you have the opportunity to book ice skating times in Gigantium for free. 

As a private school/institution or as a school/institution outside Aalborg Municipality, you have the opportunity to book skating times in Gigantium for a fee.
For one hour of skating including skate rental, it costs:

  • 175 kroner for 0 to 10 people
  • 410 kroner for 11 to 50 people
  • 575 kroner for 51 to 100 people
  • 870 kroner for 101 or more people

When you book a skating time, you must provide the school/institution's EAN/CVR number. We will then send the invoice electronically to this number. 

It is not possible to book skating time during an ongoing week. However, it is possible from the following Monday.

Confirmation of booking must be presented on the day.

Max. Capacity in the hall is 150 people at a time.

Cancellations are made by clicking the link in the confirmation email.

Cancellations may occur from here, e.g. for larger events.

Please be aware that during your skating time, there may be ice maintenance. This means that everyone must leave the ice for ten minutes while our machine is running on the rink.
